Description: The book contains remastered reprints of the novellas The Queen and The Wave as well as three entirely new novellas. Season of Rot (a very traditional Romero type tale about a group of people stuck in a hospital and surrounded by the dead), Dead West (an ALTERNATE HISTORY tale which has a zombie pandemic occur west of the Mississippi just after the Civil War. The zombies are fast movers and it's all steamboats, canons, winchesters, and horses to stop the dead from spreading east), and RATS (a tale of the nine factions of HELL spilling onto the earth. Each faction of demons take an animal form and the US ends up with Humanoid Rat Monsters who not only use the dead as foot soldiers to elminate the humans but also control the real animals. A convoy of surviors must find shelter from both the demons and the dead or all human life in the US will be lost.) RATS is actually the first tale in what may become a series.
